Derma Roller Price in Bangladesh (2026): Sizes Compared

Food SupplementsPublished 19 October 2026 · 12 min read

Derma roller price in Bangladesh runs from ৳190 to ৳690 at Orpa today, and a Dr. Pen M8 microneedling pen is ৳11,999. That is the whole honest range: a titanium roller is a cheap tool, and the ৳500 difference between the bottom and the top of the roller range buys needle material and build quality, not a different result. What actually decides your result — and your safety — is needle length, and almost nobody selling these explains it.

Below is every derma roller and derma stamp in stock at Orpa with its price, a plain explanation of which needle length does what, the ten worth comparing first, and the hygiene rules that matter more than the brand you pick.

Needle length decides everything — pick this before you pick a brand

A derma roller works by making controlled micro-injuries in the skin. The skin repairs them by producing collagen, and that repair is the whole point. How deep those injuries go is set entirely by needle length, and the right length depends on what you are treating and where. Choosing 1.5 mm when you needed 0.5 mm is not “faster results” — it is a different and riskier procedure.

0.25 mm — absorption, not collagen

At 0.25 mm the needles barely pass the outer layer of skin. This length does not meaningfully build collagen and will not touch scars. What it does do is make serums absorb better, and it is the only length that is genuinely low-risk to use often. If you bought a roller to get more out of an expensive serum, this is the one. The DRS 0.25 mm at ৳190 and the ZGTS 0.25 mm at ৳450 are both in stock.

0.3–0.5 mm — the home sweet spot

This is the range most people should actually buy. At 0.5 mm you reach the upper dermis, which is enough to stimulate collagen for fine lines, enlarged pores, and shallow acne marks, without the bleeding and downtime of longer needles. It is also the standard length for scalp use alongside a hair regrowth routine. The DRS 0.5 mm is ৳190, and the ZGTS 0.3 mm at ৳499 is the gentlest titanium option, rated 4.83 from 6 reviews.

0.75–1.0 mm — scalp and beard, with real care

At this depth you will see pinpoint bleeding, and that is expected rather than a mistake. These lengths are used on the scalp for hair density and on the jaw for beard growth, and they need a genuine gap between sessions — every two to three weeks, not weekly. Skin needs that long to finish remodelling. The DRS 0.75 mm and DRS 1.0 mm are ৳190 each; the ZGTS 1 mm is ৳450.

1.5 mm and above — be honest about what these are

Orpa stocks 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3 mm rollers because there is real demand for them, but you should know what you are buying. At these lengths you are working through the full dermis. In clinics they are used on body skin — stretch marks, old surgical scars, thick skin on the back — and they are normally done with topical anaesthetic and proper sterile technique.

Used on the face at home, 1.5 mm and longer carry a real risk of scarring, pigmentation changes and infection, and they will not give you faster results than 0.5 mm would. If your target is facial acne scarring, the right answer is a professional treatment, not a longer needle. If you are buying 2 mm or 3 mm for body use, treat it as a monthly procedure at most and read the hygiene section below twice.

The ten worth comparing, in detail

1. DRS Derma Roller 0.5 mm, 540 needles — ৳190

The default recommendation and the cheapest sensible buy in the country. 540 needles at 0.5 mm covers the useful home range for pores, fine lines and shallow marks, and at ৳190 down from ৳250 it costs less than replacing it feels like it should. Rated 3.80 from 5 reviews, which is the honest trade: this is a budget tool, not a precision instrument. Buy two and bin the first one when it dulls.

2. ZGTS Derma Roller 0.3 mm — ৳499

The gentlest titanium roller in stock and the best-reviewed in the range at 4.83 from 6 reviews. 0.3 mm sits just above the absorption-only length, so it suits sensitive or thin skin and people starting out who want collagen stimulation without bleeding. Titanium needles hold their edge longer than steel, which is most of what the extra ৳309 over the DRS buys.

3. DRS Derma Roller 1.5 mm — ৳190

Rated 4.75 from 4 reviews, the highest-rated DRS roller. At 1.5 mm this is a body tool — stretch marks and thick-skinned areas — and not something to run across your cheeks. Priced the same as every other DRS length, so the choice here is purely about what you are treating.

4. ZGTS Derma Roller 0.5 mm, 192 titanium needles — ৳450

Sold specifically for hair and beard growth, and 0.5 mm is the right length for that. The 192-needle head is sparser than a 540 head, which means fewer, more distinct channels per pass and a less aggressive feel — easier to control on the scalp. Reduced from ৳870. Rated 3.75 from 4 reviews.

5. ZGTS Derma Roller 0.25 mm — ৳450

Rated 4.25 from 8 reviews, the most-reviewed item in the range. This is the serum-absorption roller: low risk, usable more often than any other length, no downtime. If you are nervous about microneedling and want to find out whether you will stick with it, start here.

6. DRS Derma Roller 0.25 mm — ৳190

The same job as the ZGTS above for ৳260 less, rated 4.00 from 3 reviews. Steel rather than titanium, so expect to replace it sooner. For a length you will use weekly, replacing a ৳190 roller often is arguably the more hygienic approach anyway.

7. ADRS Pro Adjustable Titanium Derma Stamp — ৳570

A stamp presses straight down instead of rolling, so the needles enter and exit vertically rather than dragging sideways. That means less surface tearing and far better control, which matters on small targets — a single scar, the sides of the nose, the hairline. Adjustable depth makes one tool cover several lengths. Rated 4.67 from 6 reviews. Down from ৳890.

8. Adjustable Microneedling DRS Derma Stamp, 140 pins — ৳690

The densest stamp in stock at 140 pins, also adjustable, rated 4.67 from 6 reviews and reduced from ৳1,200. More pins per press means more coverage per stamp and fewer passes over the same patch of skin. The pick if you are treating an area rather than a single spot.

9. ZGTS Derma Roller 3 mm — ৳499

Rated 5.00 from 5 reviews, and included here with a clear warning rather than a recommendation. 3 mm is the longest needle in stock and is a body-only length — stretch marks, old scar tissue on limbs. Do not use it on your face. Do not use it more than once a month. Sterilise properly or do not use it at all.

10. Dr. Pen M8 Microneedling Pen — ৳11,999

A different class of device. The M8 is motorised, with adjustable depth from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm and a replaceable sterile cartridge for each session. Because the needles oscillate vertically at speed, it tears the skin far less than a roller and reaches depth consistently instead of depending on how hard you press. The replaceable cartridges also solve the hygiene problem that rollers never really solve. Rated 4.00 from 7 reviews, down from ৳14,999. At 63 times the price of a DRS roller it is only worth it if you microneedle regularly and properly.

DRS or ZGTS: what the extra ৳260 buys

Every DRS roller is ৳190 and every standard ZGTS is ৳450 to ৳499, for the same needle lengths. The difference is material and finish. ZGTS needles are titanium alloy, which stays sharp through more sessions than the steel on the cheaper rollers. A dull needle is the actual problem here — it does not glide in, it pushes and tears, which hurts more and heals worse.

That gives you two defensible strategies and one bad one. Either buy ZGTS and get more sessions out of a sharper tool, or buy DRS at ৳190 and replace it early and often. The bad strategy is buying the cheapest roller and then using it for a year because it still looks fine. It does not stay fine. Needles blunt invisibly.

Roller, stamp or pen?

A roller is cheapest and fastest over large flat areas — cheeks, forehead, thighs. Its weakness is geometry: because the drum rotates, each needle enters at an angle and leaves at an angle, which drags a small tear rather than making a clean channel. On curved or bony areas it is also hard to keep contact even.

A stamp presses straight in and straight out. Cleaner channels, better control, no dragging, and it can reach places a drum cannot — the sides of the nose, the hairline, a single scar. It is slower over a whole face, and that is the trade.

A pen is a motorised stamp. Consistent depth regardless of hand pressure, fast, and critically it uses a fresh sterile cartridge each time. The cost is the barrier: ৳11,999 against ৳190.

For most people reading this, a ৳190 to ৳499 roller at 0.5 mm answers the question. Buy the stamp as well if you have specific spots to treat.

Using a derma roller without damaging your skin

This section matters more than which product you choose. Microneedling makes thousands of open channels in your skin, and anything on the needles or your hands goes in through them.

  • Disinfect before and after, every time. Soak the head in 70% isopropyl alcohol for five to ten minutes, and let it air dry. Rinse first if there is any residue — alcohol fixes debris to needles rather than removing it.
  • Clean your face first. A plain cleanser, then dry skin. No actives beforehand.
  • Never share a roller. Not with a partner, not with family. This is a blood-contact tool.
  • Replace it on a schedule, not on appearance. Roughly every 10 to 15 sessions for steel, longer for titanium. You cannot see a blunt needle.
  • Respect the recovery interval. 0.25 to 0.3 mm can be used once or twice a week. 0.5 mm, once a week at most. 0.75 to 1.0 mm, every two to three weeks. 1.5 mm and above, monthly at most, and on body skin.
  • Do not roll over active acne, cold sores, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea flares, moles or warts. You will spread the bacteria or the virus across every channel you just made. Wait until the skin is clear.
  • Skip the actives for 24 hours afterwards. No vitamin C, retinol, AHA, BHA or fragranced products on freshly needled skin — they sting, and they can cause irritation or pigmentation on compromised skin. Plain hyaluronic acid, or nothing at all, is the right answer that evening.
  • Use sunscreen the next day without exception. Needled skin pigments easily, and pigmentation is the most common bad outcome in Bangladesh’s sun. Orpa stocks 65 options in the sunscreen collection and there is a separate sunscreen price guide if you need one.
  • Stop if something is wrong. Redness and mild flushing for a day is normal. Swelling that worsens, spreading heat, pus or pain beyond 48 hours is an infection — see a doctor, do not roll again.

If you are on isotretinoin, have a bleeding disorder, are pregnant, have keloid-prone skin, or have had facial fillers recently, ask a doctor before microneedling at all. Keloid-prone skin in particular is a genuine reason not to do this at home.

Derma rolling with minoxidil: get the order right

Pairing a 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm roller with minoxidil on the scalp is the most common reason people in Bangladesh buy a derma roller, and there is reasonable evidence that microneedling improves minoxidil’s effect on hair density.

The important detail is timing, and most people get it wrong. Do not apply minoxidil immediately after rolling. Fresh channels massively increase how much gets absorbed systemically, along with the propylene glycol that irritates skin, and that means more stinging, more scalp irritation and more risk of side effects — not more hair. Roll, then wait at least 24 hours before the next minoxidil application. Roll once every one to two weeks, not daily, and keep minoxidil going on its normal schedule in between.

Orpa stocks 17 minoxidil topical solutions from 2% to 10% in the minoxidil collection, and the minoxidil price guide compares the strengths.

Buying a derma roller in Bangladesh

Derma rollers are among the most counterfeited beauty tools sold online here, and a fake matters more than it would with a serum: blunt, uneven or non-titanium needles that are sold as titanium will tear skin instead of piercing it, and the packaging tells you nothing. ZGTS in particular is widely copied.

Two practical checks. First, buy sealed — a genuine roller arrives in a sealed blister or case, and anything loose should be refused at delivery. Second, be suspicious of prices far below the ৳190 floor; nobody imports a real titanium roller and sells it for ৳90.

All 23 products in this guide are in stock at Orpa with cash on delivery nationwide, so you can check the seal before you pay. The full live range, with current prices, is in the derma roller collection.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of a derma roller in Bangladesh?

Between ৳190 and ৳690 at Orpa, depending on needle material and whether it is a roller or a stamp. DRS steel rollers are ৳190, ZGTS titanium rollers are ৳445 to ৳499, and derma stamps are ৳570 to ৳690. A Dr. Pen M8 microneedling pen is ৳11,999.

Which derma roller size is best for beginners?

0.25 mm to 0.5 mm. Start at 0.25 mm if you mainly want better serum absorption and no downtime, or 0.5 mm if you want collagen stimulation for pores and fine lines. Do not start above 0.5 mm.

Is a 1.5 mm or 2 mm derma roller safe for the face?

Not at home. Those lengths go through the full dermis and are used clinically on body skin, usually with anaesthetic and sterile technique. On the face at home they risk scarring, pigmentation and infection without working better than 0.5 mm. For facial acne scarring, see a dermatologist.

How often should I use a derma roller?

By length: 0.25 to 0.3 mm once or twice a week, 0.5 mm weekly at most, 0.75 to 1.0 mm every two to three weeks, 1.5 mm and above monthly at most. The interval exists because collagen remodelling takes that long — rolling sooner interrupts it.

Does a derma roller help beard and hair growth?

There is reasonable evidence that microneedling improves results from minoxidil on the scalp, and the same logic is applied to beards. The roller is an enhancer, not a treatment on its own. Use 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm, once every one to two weeks, and wait 24 hours before the next minoxidil application.

Can I use minoxidil right after derma rolling?

No. Fresh channels sharply increase absorption of both the minoxidil and the propylene glycol carrier, which means more irritation and more systemic side effects rather than more hair. Wait at least 24 hours.

How long does a derma roller last?

Roughly 10 to 15 sessions for steel needles and longer for titanium, though it depends on how hard you press. Replace on a count, not on how it looks — blunting is invisible and a blunt needle tears skin.

Roller or derma stamp — which should I buy?

A roller for large flat areas and speed, a stamp for control and for targets a drum cannot reach, like the sides of the nose, the hairline or a single scar. A stamp makes cleaner vertical channels with no sideways dragging. Many people own both; the roller is the one to buy first.

Are these derma rollers original?

Orpa imports DRS, ZGTS and Dr. Pen stock and ships sealed. Check the seal at delivery before you pay, since cash on delivery lets you do exactly that.
